Logo for The Wave

Our interest, and the point of this newsletter, is to better understand and promote innovation around Regenerative Economics. We want to see a "wave" of human activity making the world better. One of the encouraging signs this wave is building is that resources to support action are becoming available. Some examples:

  • The Capital Institute's Field Guide
The Capital Institute is building its Field Guide to Investing in a Regenerative Economy which provides a definition and principles for regenerative work as well as case studies from a host of regenerative projects. You can keep up with improvements through their email newsletter.

  • Circular Economy: An Introduction
Delft University of Technology is offering a 7 week online course Circular Economy: An Introduction via edX. The course has already started, but it isn't too late to sign-up.

  • "Investing in the Circular Economy" webcast
If a whole course is too much, you can join the Disruptive Innovation Festival on November 11 for a session called Impact at Scale: Investing in the Circular Economy. They will " investigate how these strategies provide the opportunity for social and environmental impacts as well as financial returns, all while decoupling growth from resource constraints."

Plus, a Treat

And, in closing

We are very early in the process of defining what it means to build a regenerative economy. We are studying, testing, building interest and support. Thus this newsletter, which will come out weekly with brief observations and links to related materials exploring innovation and the regenerative economy. With effort, and a bit of luck, we hope support for these concepts becomes a wave sweeping the world!
