The Wave: RASA is a 501C3!
That's right, people can now easily donate to support our work! (Go ahead, you know you want to.)

Actually, the intent of RASA is to provide an umbrella for people and projects who will accelerate our regenerative future. We're hoping that having 501C3 status will make life easier for these partners.

The first project we're building support for is the Designers of Paradise podcast series.  Host, Erik van Lennep has just launched the 3rd season. We'd like to raise a base of support to help cover Erik's time and assure the quality of the podcast.

Please subscribe to listen to Designers of Paradise and, if you are able, sign up to be a monthly financial supporter. (And tell your colleagues to do the same.)

Big thanks to Inquiring Systems for being our fiscal sponsor.
Designers of Paradise
Albert Bates was working as an attorney on a water pollution case in Tennessee – agriculture chemicals polluting an aquifer. What he saw left him deeply shaken and changed the direction of his life.

How does loss of coastal vegetation drive disappearance of summer rains? Can restoring the forest on as small a parcel as 10 x 10 km bring back the rain to an area it has fled?

Of Note
This is about not doing monoculture...  We’re letting nature work.

Could fresh, healthy, affordable food be the future of urban neighborhood development?

The song entitled, “Grow Food” follows the kids through the North Side of Minneapolis where they drop some GRADE A bars about growing their own food and shining a light on food inequities in America.

By getting local communities to own and manage forests, the country has not only preserved its trees but seen the creation of a sustainable source of income

Global warming over the next century means that species will move to cooler climates, but manmade barriers often stand in the way.
One Last Thing
Using the roots of the Ficus elastica tree (rubber fig tree), the residents have woven an elaborate system of living bridges, some of which are thought to be over 500 years old.
In Closing
We are early in the process of defining what it means to build a regenerative society. While the terminology will continue to evolve, we're convinced the ideas are directionally correct. We are studying, testing, plotting, and building interest, support, and resources.

Thus this newsletter, which will come out periodically with information about RASA - narrating our work - along with brief observations and links to related materials exploring innovation and the regenerative economy.

With effort, and a bit of luck, we hope support for these concepts becomes a wave sweeping the world! Check out the archive to see if this newsletter is right for you (or a friend).

If you find this email valuable, please share with a friend. If you don't, please unsubscribe (link at the bottom.) We also much appreciate comments, advice, and suggestions for links to highlight.

Thanks.
