We've been working on an ecosystem map to help identify partners and opportunities in the regenerative space. (Note, that it is focused on "agriculture" and you may see a bias towards agriculture projects in upcoming editions of "The Wave".) Here's a sample of the structure we're using:

In a world of damaged ecological and social systems, with a fragile global economy and a rapidly changing climate, business as we know it must evolve or perish.
Ecosystem services globally require restoration, urgently! We work to restore healthy functioning to Ecosystem services in the Mediterranean Basin and other Mediterranean climates.
Food production already has the largest environmental impact globally of any human activity, but growing net demand means this will need to double by 2015. If this is to happen sustainably, more will have to be grown on less land and using less water.
One of the discussions is The Future of Sustainable Agriculture: “The key to better nutrition, and ultimately to ensuring each person’s right to food, lies in better food systems."
Connect financial resources to farms and Good Food businesses; grow local procurement capacity; engage local school districts; provide a forum to discuss local, statewide, and national food policy; and educate the public about the importance and impact of Good Food.

And, in closing
We are very early in the process of defining what it means to build a regenerative economy. While the terminology will continue to evolve, we're convinced the ideas are directionally correct. Now we are studying, testing, plotting, and building interest, support, and resources.
Thus this newsletter, which will come out about weekly with brief observations and links to related materials exploring innovation and the regenerative economy. With effort, and a bit of luck, we hope support for these concepts becomes a wave sweeping the world!
